Master seal team
Program Standards Completion Requirements: To become a member of the PADI Seal Team, participants must successfully complete AquaMissions 1-5. For those aiming to achieve the PADI Master Seal Team membership, in addition to being a Seal Team member, they must fulfill the requirements of 10 additional Specialty AquaMissions. Furthermore, Master Seal Team members are expected to demonstrate the ability to independently assemble and disassemble their scuba diving equipment.
Depth: For AquaMission 1, participants will engage in activities at a maximum depth of 2 meters or 6 feet. As they progress beyond AquaMission 1, subsequent AquaMissions will take place at a maximum depth of 4 meters or 12 feet. These depth limits ensure a safe and controlled environment for the participants’ underwater exploration.
Diver Prerequisites: Participants must be at least 8 years old to take part in the program. This age requirement ensures that participants possess the physical and cognitive abilities necessary to engage in the activities safely.
Equipment: Participants are required to have the following scuba diving equipment:
- Mask: Essential for clear vision underwater.
- Fins: Aid in propulsion and maneuverability.
- Snorkel: Allows breathing on the water’s surface before or after scuba diving.
- Scuba Cylinder: Contains the compressed air supply for breathing underwater.
- Buoyancy Control Device with Low-Pressure Inflator: Enables divers to control their buoyancy and ascend or descend in the water.
- Regulator: Delivers air from the scuba cylinder to the diver.
- Alternate Air Source (Octopus): An additional regulator for emergency air sharing situations.
Please note that the equipment list may vary depending on the specific AquaMission and the participant’s level of progression in the program. Instructors will provide guidance on the necessary equipment for each AquaMission.
