Bubble Maker

Program Standards Depth: During the Confined Water phase of the program, participants will engage in activities at a maximum depth of 2 meters or 6 feet. This ensures a safe and controlled environment for their learning experience.

Diver Prerequisites: To participate in the program, individuals must be at least 8 years old. This age requirement ensures that participants have the physical and cognitive abilities necessary to engage in the activities safely.

Equipment: Participants are required to have the following scuba diving equipment:

  • Mask: Essential for clear vision underwater.
  • Fins: Aid in propulsion and maneuverability.
  • Scuba Cylinder: Contains the compressed air supply for breathing underwater.
  • Buoyancy Control Device with Low-Pressure Inflator: Allows divers to control their buoyancy and ascend or descend in the water.
  • Regulator: Delivers air from the scuba cylinder to the diver.
  • Submersible Pressure Gauge: Monitors the air pressure in the scuba cylinder.

Instructor Rating: The program is conducted under the supervision of an Assistant Instructor, who possesses the necessary expertise and instructional skills to guide participants through the Bubblemaker experience safely.

Materials: Participants and their parent or guardian, if applicable, will be required to sign the PADI Bubblemaker Statement (10268). This statement acknowledges the participant’s understanding of the program and their agreement to follow the necessary guidelines.

Recognition: Upon completion of the Bubblemaker experience, participants will be recognized with a Bubblemaker certificate and card. Additionally, their achievements will be recorded in their Bubblemaker Logbooks. Participants will also receive Bubblemaker emblems and decals as mementos of their underwater adventure.
